It's reported that Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steelmakers in Taiwan released its price policy for May today.
The company decided to cut its list prices for hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized steel products by NT$600/ton and reduced the export prices by US$10~US$20/ton for May.
After the adjustment, the company's list prices for hot rolled steel products are at NT$18,500~NT$19,000/ton; those for cold rolled steel products are at NT$21,900~NT$22,400/ton and those for galvanized steel products are at NT$22,400~NT$22,900/ton.
